Bonita Springs Real Estate Sales Update - January to June 2009

The January thru June Bonita Springs real estate market statistics for both homes and condominiums are listed below. Bonita Springs, known as the "Gateway to the Gulf,"  is one of Southwest Florida's fastest growing coastal cities. Lifestyle options are endless and its central location between Ft. Myers and Naples make it a most desirable destination. While its growth has been prolific, the city still has that small town charm with an exceptional quality of life.

Bonita Springs Real Estate Sales Data

Bonita Springs Homes Sales January-June 2009*:
  • 434 Closed Sales
  • Average Sales Price - $348,404
  • Median Sales Price - $260,000
  • Average Days on Market - 146
  • Average Sales Price/Square Ft. - $143.44
Bonita Springs Condominium Sales January-June 2009*:
  • 383 Closed Sales
  • Average Sales Price - $250,366
  • Median Sales Price - $210,000
  • Average Days on Market - 172
  • Average Sales Price/Square Ft. - $150.54

In comparison with 2008 sales data, we saw a 23% increase in the number of home sales and a 11% increase in the number of condominium sales. We also have seen a 46% decrease in the average price for homes and a 38% decrease in the average price for condominiums. Average days on market fell by 23% for homes and by 6% for condominiums.

The city offers a wide variety of living options and price ranges. Many of the more well known communities like Pelican Landing, Bonita Bay and The Brooks have some really well priced homes or condominiums available.
