SW Florida New Construction helping real estate market rebound in 2011-2012Just when inventory levels have hit lows in this area not seen in years, some of the premier Florida developers are poised to begin building again in a very large way in 2012.

Cameratta Companies has started development of The Preserve at Corkscrew near Bella Terra on Corkscrew Road. It is slated to have 120 Phase One homesites available in early 2012. Lennar and Pulte Homes have been selected as the premier builders.

Lennar has also taken over at Treviso Bay in Naples and are soon to begin building there again too.

The Ronto Group filed for the extension with the city of Bonita Springs for two projects east of Interstate 75 near Village Walk that are permitted for nearly 2,000 housing units. One will be golf course centered and the other will be a retirement community.

The Collier County Commission just approved plans yesterday for Hacienda Lakes, a new home and retail development off Collier Boulevard and Rattlesnake Hammock road. The community will include 1,700 new residential properties, retail space including professional and medical offices and a 135-room hotel.

Word on the street is another new development approval is also in the works for a community east of Interstate 75 in Estero. According to a few well placed sources, it too will be in the range of having 2,000 new homes starting sometime next year.

All will provide welcome relief to our area as buyer demand continues to push higher as season begins for 2011-2012.
