I just wanted to apologize to everyone (especially to my clients and friends) for having been away for such a very long period of time. What started out as well deserved break (in my opinion) from 18 straight months of creating my blogs and working on the website (right before last Christmas), turned unexpectedly into a lengthy and unwanted hiatus.

Basically, the Florida real estate market exploded in January. We were so busy in the first quarter that January, February and March are now just a blur in my memory. Then, right after St. Patrick’s Day, my wife, partner and right hand, Terry, got sick. It was a real shocker as she has been one of the healthiest people I know. To say it was devastating is an understatement. It was 12 weeks of total craziness. I had no choice but to wear every hat possible as we took care of her and something had to give. Unfortunately, it was my ability to do some of the things I like best, like blogging and social networking. There just was no available time for it and I’m not sure I could have done it anyway considering my state of mind under the circumstances.

Fortunately (thank the good Lord), she is better now and we have finally been able to start putting our lives back together. You have to always play the cards you are dealt even when you sometimes don’t want to. That’s how the game of life is played. So, I plan on getting back at it here shortly. So much has happened in both our industries this past six months, I know I’ll have no problem in finding some things to talk about.
