The Club at Mediterra Reaches Golf Membership Capacity

Congratulations to Mediterra! This past quarter they announced that, contrary to the national trend of declining golf memberships, The Club at Mediterra has reached its golf capacity. This is quite an achievement!
A nine time Collier County award winning master-planned community featuring 36 holes designed by Tom Fazio, Mediterra has less than 950 homes and more than 1,000 acres of exquisitely maintained Florida landscaping. This is the only private facility of its size to be certified by Audubon's International Silver Sanctuary program.
There were, in March of 2012, 50 reserved memberships for the balance of new construction at Mediterra, but there are now only 41 remaining memberships available through the custom builder program. New owners purchasing re-sale homes may purchase an existing membership for $100,000, but if the homeowner did not belong to The Club, then it's wait list time. To qualify for the waiting list, a potential new member must pay the Sports Membership fee of $30,000, plus one-half of the current Golf Club membership.
The Club at Mediterra golf membership is a family and equity membership based program. Two adults and children up to age 23 may belong. The initiation fee is a donation to their capital reserve fund for future improvements and is not refundable. The current annual dues are $13,900 plus tax.
Mediterra is an amenity rich community with a private beach club on the Gulf of Mexico, fitness and tennis center at the Sports Club which also provides spa, sauna and outdoor heated pool. The available homes at Mediterra are carriage, villas, and custom homes from low $500s to over $7 million.
