If you are a less than A- credit borrower and our mortgage underwriter is unable to help you with obtaining mortgage financing through our firm, this list of Internet based Mortgage Directories is where you can start your search for help in finding additional financing options. The types of home loan programs available are endless and if you need specialized financing, then we'd like to help you get the resources you need.
There are a few tips and advice that we can pass along that may help when you investigate these other lending companies. Don't expect if you are experiencing "credit issues" that all lenders are created equal. Take your time and compare their services by investigating their lender fees, origination points, pre-payment penalties, and interest rates. If you are a real estate investor with credit problems, then make sure you let the lender know that it is not an owner occupied property at the start of your discussions. It will save you misunderstandings and wasted efforts.
