About Olde Hickory Real Estate
There are 175 single family homes, 126 attached villas, and 260 verandas, which are the condominiums at Olde Hickory. In the single family homes, the residents are responsible for all outside maintenance on their properties. 151 of the homes have golf course and wetland views, the balance of the homes overlook lakes. Their sizes are approximately 1,600 to 3,500 SF. The Verandas are two story condominiums with three floor plans ranging in size from nearly 1,300 to 1,600. All of the condominiums back up to the golf course with wide open views. This community also provides access to their own private community swimming pool. The Verandas also feature a detached single car garage. The Villas at Olde Hickory feature 1,600 square feet and a two car garage.
Amenities at Olde Hickory
Residents at Olde Hickory’s country club are enjoying the new renovations (2010) in their 22,000 square foot Country Club where the formal dining room and grille were opened up allowing more after golf dining. The course is state of the art, Tif-Eagle Bermuda greens, featuring six sets of tees that allow from 4,686 yards to over 6,600 yards of par 72 championship play.
Olde Hickory's course accommodates any skill level of golfer. There’s a chipping green with bunker for working on your short game and a driving range to test your skills from 90-250 yards with practice balls provided. A full service pro shop is available for selecting the newest equipment and fashions of the day for its residents. Olde Hickory offers three golf leagues for both men and women of every level of expertise and they play weekly. There are also full time pros and golf club manager on site.
If golf is not your game, there are three lighted Deco Turf tennis courts, well-equipped 2,600 SF fitness center, slated for completion in 2014, and a heated swimming pool and spa at the club house for staying active off of the course. All of the social life is centered round the Country Club at Olde Hickory as every resident is a member of the club.
