Pelican Bay residents claim three beautiful miles of white sandy beaches along the Gulf of Mexico with four separate dining facilities at both the North and South perimeters. Dining in the cool Gulf breezes while overlooking the bluest of water is a bit of heaven on earth. The Sandpiper and The Beach Boutique and Café are located on the North beach and offer both indoor and outdoor dining, plus a picnic area. The Beach Café is a terrific place to enjoy the homemade Royal Scoop Ice Cream parlor for young and old alike. The Boutique offers Southwest Florida lifestyle clothing for dressing with ease and comfort. At the South beach the Sunset Café offers a light menu for breakfast, lunch, or a snack. Located just next door, and south of Clam Pass, the Sandpiper offers a more international flair for dining. The resident beach facilities include lounge chairs, cabanas, umbrellas, sundecks, and restrooms with showers. Beach access is provided by boardwalk and serviced by eight tram stations throughout the community if you choose not to walk or bike to the beach. Over two and one-half miles of the beach entries are private and offer the residents a truly unrivalled beach experience.

Located on the southern end of Pelican Bay is the new 25,000 square foot Pelican Bay Community Center that all residents may use and enjoy. Featuring a state of the art fitness center, with all types of optional classes and trainers, eight lighted tennis courts and fully stocked pro shop, a wellness center offering spa services, meeting rooms, computers and printers, catering kitchen, and art and hobby center. On-going activities at the center feature dinner and a movie, wine tastings, and dinner dances for Pelican Bay residents. On the northern end of the community at The Commons are ten additional non-lighted tennis courts – both locations offer round robin, clinics, private lessons, and player classification for all skill levels.

Sailing, canoe, and kayaking on the Estuary and Gulf are available with rental boats provided for the experienced sailors. Or, bring your own canoe and kayak for enjoying the back waters and wildlife.

Last, but not least, Pelican Bay has access to four parks. At Clam Pass, on the southeast end of the Naples Waldorf-Astoria Resort, is one of Naples' most beloved beaches. Clam Pass Park, operated by Collier County, features restrooms, snack bar, and picnic areas that are accessible by Pelican Bay's tram service. The Collier County Park in Pelican Bay has athletic fields for baseball and soccer, tennis, basketball, a tot lot, and picnic tables. Both Oakmont and Ridgewood Parks, are lakeside and Oakmont has nature trails and both parks feature swings and slides for the little ones.
